Intimate herbal steaming before childbirth is a traditional form of women's self-care that allows women to actively prepare for birth during the final weeks of pregnancy. It uses soothing warmth, herbs and their fragrance to encourage a feeling of relaxation and ease. In this way, women can enjoy gentle warming of the pelvic floor area and the soft tissues of the birth canal before childbirth. After giving birth, many women describe how our prenatal herbal steaming helped them feel calm, focus on their bodies and create a private space to connect with their babies during the final weeks of pregnancy. For them, it became one of the most important supportive practices in preparing for childbirth.
An original herbal blend developed by Mgr. Monika Valová for prenatal steaming, drawing on the principles of pharmacognosy. It is suitable for preparing the birth canal and supporting women's comfort before childbirth from the 38th week of pregnancy, or from the 36th week following prior consultation with a doctor or midwife.
The blend has long been used and recommended by selected maternity hospitals in the Czech Republic as part of prenatal care and has been tried by tens of thousands of women.
If you do not use up the entire Childbirth Preparation blend before giving birth, you can also use it for steaming after childbirth to naturally support your recovery.
We recommend starting herbal steaming from the 38th week of pregnancy, or from the 36th week following prior consultation with a doctor or midwife.
